Victory Road Triumphs

With two nearly sold-out shows at The Kennedy Center in April, the world premiere of Victory Road was a success!

The theater was packed and the audience’s enthusiasm was palpable thanks to the dancers’ unmistakable energy and the spirited music of Jason and The Scorchers. We would like to thank our many friends, fans, and supporters for an unforgettable premiere! Check out theses photos from the weekend and read the article on Brightest Young Things.

Our Nashville-themed Soiree on Saturday night was the perfect way to celebrate the culmination of an outstanding partnership with Jason and The Scorchers while raising money to support BMD’s artistic and community endeavors with the help of a live and silent auction. Patrons enjoyed an evening of festivities and fun with the cast of the show, featuring a private mini-performance by the band and dancing to close out the event. Check out these fun photos from the Soiree.

After an exciting weekend premiere, Victory Road went quite literally “on the road.” BMD and The Scorchers picked up their dance shoes and their instruments and hit the open road for a tour through Southern Virginia.  BMD offered a master class to students at the University of Virginia ‘s College at Wise and the performance of Victory Road was well-received at the JW Adams Combined School. We would like to thank the people of Wise, VA and ProArt Association for their warm welcome and hospitality.
