Kristen Brown is a native of Tampa, Florida and received her early dance training from the Lakeland Ballet/Florida Dance Theatre. She continued her dance education at the University of South Florida while performing as a guest artist with the Brandon Ballet. She has performed around the country and internationally with both the Burklyn Ballet and the United Nations of Dance and spent the last season with the Ballet Theatre of Maryland. Currently, she teaches dance at the Edna Lee Dance Studio
     Alexandra Buss received her early dance training at the Vienna Dance Academy in Virginia. In 2003 she graduated from Goucher College with a degree with distinction in dance performance and choreography. Currently, she teaches the Pilates Method of Body Conditioning at Excel Movement Studios.
 
Alison Crosby is a founding member of BMD. Trained at the respected Maryland Youth Ballet, she continued her training at the Joffrey Ballet School and was a member of the Joffrey Concert Group in New York.
In the Washington area, Alison is especially identified with Eric Hampton Dance & Bowen McCauley Dance, companies with which she has performed for most of her professional career. She also has had rewarding collaborations with other leading dance groups, including Tony Powell Music and Movement, Karen and Alvin, and CityDance Ensemble.
Other performing experiences include a national tour of The Music Man, the Washington Opera, a principal role in the Arena Stage production of Coyote Builds North America, and with the Silversea Cruise Line.
Alison has received two awards for individual artist in solo dance performance from the Maryland Arts Council and Montgomery County, and was nominated at the first DC Metro Dance Awards in 2001.


 
Dustin Kimball started dancing at age 20 as an undergraduate at the University of Maine in Orono. Three years later, he moved back to Virginia, where he danced with the Center for Ballet Arts of Fairfax, and also spent two years with Benn and Debra Savage. For the last two years Dustin has studied intensively at the Rock School for Dance Education in Philadelphia.
 
 
Heather Lyle trained at Washington School of Ballet and received her B.F.A. from East Carolina University. She has danced professionally in New York, California, and Washington, D.C. Most recently, Heather has been working with Carla Perlo and Lucy Bowen McCauley. She is also a Certified Massage Therapist practicing in Arlington, Va.
     
 
     
 

Robert Sidney is a founding member of BMD and is a native Chicagoan. Bobby's love of dance started in Washington, D.C. where he's had the opportunity to train in some of the leading institutions for dance. He gives special thanks to all his instructors who have helped him and who have made dance a joy. He has also danced with DC Dance Theater, CrossCurrents, Shadow Dance, Motion Mania, Leslie Roberts Dancers and Tapestry. He is also a flight attendant for United Airlines.
