Alicia Curtis

Alicia CurtisAlicia Curtis, who grew up in Maryland, graduated cum laude from Marymount Manhattan College located in NYC where she earned a BFA in Dance with a Musical Theater Minor. While there, she received the Marymount Manhattan College Gold Key for excellence in dance. Ms. Curtis trained at Maryland Youth Ballet, Washington Ballet, and attended summer programs at ABT N.Y., Boston Ballet, and Joffrey Ballet. Before joining BMD, Ms. Curtis was a member of Roxey Ballet in New Jersey for three seasons, where she danced the principal roles of Sugarplum Fairy in the Nutcracker, Lucy in Dracula, Giselle in Giselle, Act II, Aurora in Sleeping Beauty, Act III, and Carmen in Carmen. Ms. Curtis has also appeared for the past four years in the Olney Ballet Theatre’s Nutcracker, staged by Pat Berrend. Ms. Curtis is enjoying her fourth season performing with Bowen McCauley Dance.
