Immediate Openings for One Male & One Female

BMDC is a chamber size professional contemporary dance company celebrating its 25th and final season. We are currently seeking one female and one male professional dancers with performing experience for the Company’s two 2021 full productions at the Kennedy Center. We want to hire the right candidates ASAP as understudies/swings for the May 26 show at the Kennedy Center Terrace Theater. Candidates should also be prepared to begin rehearsing immediately as you will be cast in the production of our second performance on September 14 at the Kennedy Center Eisenhower Theater. Under the direction of Founding Artistic Director, Lucy Bowen McCauley, the Company offers competitive wages to our Dancers who are part-time seasonal employees. We value diversity and inclusion encouraging all professionally trained dancers to apply.
