Leslie Lamberson
Leslie Lamberson, a Michigan native, received her early training with the Grand Rapids Ballet. She holds a B.A. in Dance and a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering magna cum laude from the University of Michigan.Ms. Lamberson is the past recipient of an Irving S. Gilmore Fine Arts Grant, a National Arts & Letters Scholarship, and the Promising Young Dancer Award in the Carey Rose Winski Scholarship Competition. Some of her additional training includes Joffrey, ABT, Boston Ballet, the Boston Conservatory, University of the Arts, Paul Taylor Dance, and the Gyor National Ballet in Gyor, Hungary. Ms. Lamberson has appeared with Peter Sparling’s Modern Dance Company, Margo Dean’s Ballet Concerto, and the Francisco Martinez Dance Theatre in Los Angeles, among others. While completing her Ph.D. in Aeronautics from the California Institute of Technology, Leslie was a soloist with Pasadena Dance Theatre. She is delighted to dance her first season with BMD.
