Studio to the Stage!

Bowen McCauley Dance offers arts-integrated workshops and customized multi-day residencies for all grades, including Studio to the Stage!:

Learn ballet, jazz, contemporary and modern dance from professional artists. Bowen McCauley Dance Company members present excerpts from the company repertoire and teach new choreography, guiding students through an authentic warm-up and performance rehearsal process. They will learn about body awareness and injury prevention, and improve motor skills and coordination.  Dancers will gain confidence and experience the life of a professional dancer and take part in the energy, excitement and repertoire of a professional dance company.  This educational, fun and fast-paced program will have dancers in shape for a culminating performance at the end of each session where students will show off their moves for family and friends!

Studio to the Stage! can be designed to fit the educational needs of each school and have often integrated movement with other subject areas such as art, creative writing, history, music, and more.  Bowen McCauley Dance brings highly-qualified professional dancers to the classroom to teach dance through a fun and interactive educational experience.
